Meet The Doctors

Dr. Thomas Mattheson joined Blackman Family Chiropractic in 2010, where he worked side by side with Dr. Michael Blackman. After working with Dr. Blackman for over 8 years, Dr. Mattheson purchased the practice and continues to provide expert chiropractic care to hundreds of patients in the greater seacoast area.

Dr. Mattheson was born and raised in Andover, MA. He attended the University of Syracuse in NY, where he received a B.S. in Biology and Health Science.

In 1984, Tom's father had an accident, falling 18 feet off a ladder while working. He fractured his spine at multiple levels with severe disc herniations. He was told by orthopedic surgeons that surgery was inevitable and that 100% recovery was very unlikely at the time. Hoping to avoid surgery, he began seeing a chiropractor. After several months of chiropractic treatments and exercise to strengthen his spine, the pain had finally subsided, and he avoided surgery.

Dr. Mattheson's goal was to become a heart specialist after completing his degrees at Syracuse University. After his dad's experience, his dad asked him, 'Tom, why haven't you thought of becoming a chiropractor?' The idea changed his life forever, and Dr. Mattheson graduated close to home at the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic in CT.

Dr. Mattheson has been practicing for 16 years now and continues to follow his true passion in life by healing and making a difference in the lives of others all around the seacoast community. Dr. Mattheson states, 'I look forward to seeing new and previous patients, continuing to play a role in everyone's health care. Dr. Wruck is a Chiropractic physician here at Mattheson Chiropractic and has been with the office since 2022. He graduated from Medical school in 1996 and holds diplomate status in Neurology with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board ( DACNB )

A native of Wisconsin, Dr. Wruck practiced in his own clinic for over 18 years and moved to New Hampshire with his wife in 2019. Along with his training in spinal manipulation and neurology, Dr. Wruck has advanced training in assessing and adjusting the upper and lower extremities.

Dr. Wruck loves helping his patients in their personal health and wellness journey.
